Project Content
Mogli is an early-stage climate-tech start-up building an AI-native operating system for renewable energy developers and EPCs. Nearly every second euro spent on developing renewable energy projects goes towards operational overhead. Mogli addresses this by unifying data silos and leveraging AI to help teams accelerate project timelines. Our platform connects with existing tools, extracts and structures project information, automates repetitive and time-consuming tasks such as document generation and analysis, and helps surface risks earlier.

We currently focus on solar, wind, and battery storage developers and work closely with industry partners to validate and further develop the product. Mogli is at an early commercial stage, with several pilot projects and a first paying customer in rollout.

As a small and interdisciplinary team, we work closely across product, engineering, business, and customer-facing activities. Interns therefore have the opportunity to contribute directly to real operational and product challenges rather than isolated internal projects.

Tasks for Interns
As an intern, you will support Mogli in becoming more AI-native across both internal operations and our product infrastructure.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive internal processes
  • Building and implementing automations using tools such as n8n, Python, JavaScript, or similar frameworks
  • Researching relevant external data sources that could strengthen Mogli’s data and AI capabilities
  • Evaluating the relevance, quality, and usability of external datasets and APIs
  • Supporting the processing and integration of selected data sources into Mogli’s systems
  • Working closely with the engineering and product team on practical AI, automation, and data-related challenges

You will have the opportunity to work on real technical problems in an early-stage climate-tech start-up and contribute directly to how Mogli builds and operates its AI-native workflows.

Requirements
We are looking for a technically curious and hands-on intern with a strong analytical mindset, ideally from a STEM background such as computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.

The ideal candidate brings:
  1. Hands-on experience with automation tools or frameworks, either through low-code platforms such as n8n or scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
  2. Experience working with data, including data processing, API-based data access, research, or structured and unstructured datasets.
  3. A strong interest in AI and automation, with the ability to think about how these technologies can improve real-world workflows.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently structure and work through technical challenges.
  5. A proactive and pragmatic working style, with a willingness to test ideas, learn quickly, and take ownership.
  6. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a small, interdisciplinary team.
  7. Fluency in English; German is a strong plus but not required.

Experience in renewable energy, climate-tech, or energy-related data is welcome but not essential.
