Project Content
Neurorium develops technology that facilitates the use of Biological Neural Networks (BNNs) for computational tasks. BNNs are made up of living, interconnected neurons that communicate with a digital substrate through electrical signals. Our training modules and software stack provide a hybrid computational platform, with applications in adaptive, few-shot learning, and physical AI.

Tasks for Interns
You will be involved in a cutting-edge research and development project, and will be tasked to do literature survey, method implementation, software development and maintenance, data analysis, documentation and report preparation.

Academic Level
  • Master’s students
  • Doctoral students
Requirements
You are an eager and independent researcher and an avid learner, comfortable with learning new tools and subjects as you get involved in a multidisciplinary project. You are a good programmer with experience in writing Python code for scientific computation. Experience with machine learning frameworks, e.g. Pytorch, is a plus. You have worked with data analysis, statistical methods for gaining quantitative insights, and know how to report, present and defend your findings clearly within a team of researchers.
