Project Content
We build technologies for affordable, scalable, and sustainable e-fuel production to enable net-zero aviation today.

Tasks for Interns
During your internship, you will be involved in pilot-scale experimentation for e-fuels production:
  • Perform research campaigns on a pilot scale to further validate our unique selling points
  • Gather, analyze, and report on experimental data to present to your supervisor and the team
  • Develop strategies for the improvement of the technology and support potential IP development

Academic Level
Master's students
Requirements
  • You have a strong background in chemical engineering, industrial/physical chemistry, or a related field
  • You are looking for hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting thermocatalytic testing units and online gas-phase analytics
  • You have a good understanding of heterogeneous catalysis or closely related research areas
  • You have a strong problem-solving mindset and excellent organizational skills
  • You can fluently communicate in English

Expected Preparation
A good starting point would be the following PhD theses:

Reverse water-gas shift chemical looping for syngas production from CO2 (https://opendata.uni-halle.de/bitstream/1981185920/13487/1/Wenzel%2C%20Marcus_doctoral%20thesis_2018.pdf)
