Plant Cell Culture for Sustainable Fatty Acid Production:
SeaOn is a synthetic biology startup focused on re-imagining sustainable fatty acids production using plant cell suspension cultures. Our current R&D project aims to engineer plant cells to produce different fatty acids for applications in cosmetics, food, and pharmaceutical industries. 

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of plant metabolism and synthetic biology in a purpose-driven environment. 
Tasks for Interns
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Engage with both scientific and non-scientific audiences and support the creation of content for blogs, newsletters, and presentations.
  • Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, SEO/SEM).

Requirements
We welcome applications from undergraduate, MSc, or early PhD students in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 

Required Skills: 
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a startup environment 
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, content creation, and basic analytics 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Bonus Points For: 
  • Background in biotechnology 
  • Prior experience in startup marketing and fundraising activities
