Humboldt International Campus (HIC) unites various short-term activities at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Academic courses, internships, German language classes or cultural insights – the variety of programs is large. Moreover, HIC creates an international student community and serves as a common coordination point for issues dealing with a short-term stay in Berlin and at Humboldt-Universität. HIC provides support and information on relevant topics such as visa regulations, finding accommodation, as well as practical information on living and studying in Berlin.

A wide variety of interdisciplinary subject courses as well as German language courses are the core of Humboldt Winter and Summer University. Students with different academic backgrounds complete this short term program, either on-site or online, lasting between two and four weeks.
Students spend twelve weeks in Berlin or online as part of research teams related to their field of study. The project list covers a variety of academic areas and focuses on experiential learning at a high level.
This program offers individual visiting students the opportunity to complete a three-month study term at Humboldt-Universität in the fall or spring. The program includes courses on a variety of interdisciplinary topics, as well as accompanying intercultural training.
Especially designed for students from international partner universities and Humboldt-Universität, the courses look at the city of Berlin from different disciplinary perspectives and are held in English or in German-English formats.
