Biology, musicology or would you prefer politics? The wide range of research projects and start-up teams cover all kinds of interests – you are sure to find something that excites you. For university partners: We maintain a dedicated project list for cohort programs. Please contact us for further details.
Please read the project descriptions carefully before applying: some projects are interdisciplinary, some have specific requirements, and each lists its available timeframes. In most cases, the tasks described offer a general idea of the work rather than a fixed task list. Research and start-up projects evolve, so priorities and activities are likely to change before the internship begins. The project supervisor will discuss and define the actual tasks together with the student at the beginning of the stay. The startups listed here are part of the startup incubators Humboldt Innovation and Science & Startups, which is the joint startup service of Humboldt University of Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, and the Technical University of Berlin, in partnership with Charité. The teams operate at the intersection of science and business and are in the early stages of launching a company. In addition to subject-specific tasks, students have the opportunity to gain insights into how a scientific idea is transformed into a marketable company.
The list is subject to change. Existing projects may be changed, and new projects may be added at any time without further notice.
