Within the framework of the Humboldt Perspectives Study Abroad program, you can earn 30 ECTS study points. For each completed seminar and each completed language course you will receive 6 ECTS. You can choose five seminars from the program catalog. Alternatively you can choose four seminars and one German language class. For your participation in the accompanying intercultural training, you will receive an additional certificate. It serves as proof of the intercultural skills you will have acquired during your study at Humboldt-Universität.

Background information on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS): ECTS has been developed by the Commission of the European Union to provide standard procedures to ensure academic recognition of studies abroad. ECTS is a credit system based on student workload. One credit point is deemed to be the equivalent of 25-30 working hours which include the lessons, the preparation, follow-up, and examinations.
